Congratulations to Atlantic Grocery Distributors who were presented with the PRIDE Award at the 2010 Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador Conference. The award was presented in recognition of the pivotal role Atlantic Grocery Distributors played in the food industry and the tremendous support and exceptional customer service given to business owners and operators throughout the province. The presentation was made at the Tourism Excellence Awards Gala, hosted by Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador during its annual convention held in Gander, February 18-20.

The Atlantic Grocery Distributors total warehouse facility has reached 148,000 sq. ft., and it has six different temperature zones. It is NSF Cook & Thurber Certified and HACCP Accredited.

They adhere to the highest standards of quality, both in the warehouse facility and in transit as well. An experienced team of drivers operate a fleet of 33 modern reefer trucks and trailers to ensure that shipments reach customers in perfect condition.

AGD is owned and operated by the Powell family of Bay Roberts, who strive to provide every customer with the same level of exceptional service and value. Their reputation for satisfying customers’ needs and exceeding their expectations has earned a loyal, growing customer base ranging from local convenience stores to large restaurant chains.
